Mural

"Toro"
Here is a "tour" of My Mural at the Black Door.   This Mural was about transporting a little bit of Madrid to Central Vermont.  As seen in this photo, large cut out bull silhouettes can be seen along the highways of Spain.

I decide to project this image on a VT backdrop, and this is what happened:

The whole thing started when I saw this half finished, (my apologies to the artist) horrific, Kandinsky reproduction "decorating" the deck of the Black Door...

I told Ignacio that he really should do something about THAT....and he said "You do it."

Added a few cows ala Woody Jackson (or Ben & Jerry's) and a lavender Camel's Hump in the background!  Some folks thought I should use my jolly pet portrait style, but I wanted to keep it simple and I'm happy I did!

"Flower Fairies"
I am always open to new projects and enjoy painting murals.  The following are photo's of a flower fairy mural I created for a special little girl.  Of course, a Pet Portrait had to sneak in!  I'm sure you will spot it while browsing these images...

Yes this is Sylvia, AKA Nam Nam, a tortoise shell cat.
